Open Carry Bill for Concealed Handgun Holders HB 910 - What This Means for Texas Employers as of 1/1/16:
Licensed individuals will be able to openly carry a handgun into TX places of employment. Prior to this new law, licensed individuals were only able to carry concealed handguns.
If TX employers do not want open carry and/or concealed carry hanguns allowed into their place of business, the TX state-specific signs above will ban individuals from doing do. Signs must be posted at property entrances, be clearly visible, posted in BOTH English and Spanish, and meet state-font and size specifications. These signs are large because of the TX font-size requirement.
